For this painting of a pup called "Lily" I selected a close-up front facing perspective featuring her soulful face. The intent was to capture uniqueness of her coloration and expression. Took artist's license to place her within a background setting of violet hues, echoing the trim color on the home which she lived within and enjoyed.
